I started it at 1:10 when I was home on lunch break and by the time I got home from the office at 4:15, the broccoli was done, done, done! Forget the al dente stuff!

So I would probably try it again sometime when I could be home to monitor it - sure didn't seem like it needed any extra time on this Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12031771436118171573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5090591139439935093.post-61800130320349015152008-12-15T07:27:00.000-08:002008-12-15T07:27:00.000-08:00Hi Dorinda,I think doubling it would work just fin...Hi Dorinda,

I think doubling it would work just fine in a 6 qt. I'd leave everything the same, but adjust to have an extra 30 minutes if needed for the broccoli to soften. It might not need it though; I'm not sure. Crockpot cooking is definitely a range, and not an exact cooking time.
xoxo
stephStephanie ODeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08618710485017373256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5090591139439935093.post-64592040554750371592008-12-15T07:01:00.000-08:002008-12-15T07:01:00.000-08:00I picked up hazelnuts at Sprouts Farmers Market. ...I picked up hazelnuts at Sprouts Farmers Market.
