What is nice about this recipe is that it’s the set it and forget kind. Sure, you have to check occasionally (45 minutes), but that’s nothing compared to cooking it on the stove. I like that it might produce a sticky or semi-sticky rice. My usual rice recipe is in the same proportions (with boiling water - very important!) baked covered in the regular oven at 425 for 20-25 minutes. After 4 hours on high and about 1/2 hour with the power off it came out perfect. I did fluff it up the last 30 minutes. It actually came out better than in my rice cooker.
