You can be alot cranky if you need to. It's hard work growing a baby. Thanks for the link.

Well at least you have a good excuse for being cranky! I don't have a good excuse, just this fun, yet stressful time of year.

I just had a baby 3 months ago and those last few weeks are brutal! Take it easy and rest as much as you possibly can!!! :)

I refuse to believe that you ever get cranky. You're just too nice. :)

Truly, the last month is the only one when people will actually listen when you complain -- well, it might only be the Nurse at the OB-GYN's Office, but at least it's *someone* that will listen. I can only imagin how tired and excited you must be! (I gave up at two-gotta know your own limit.)

Hang in there, you are so close to the finish line!

Go get a manicure, pedicure, pregnancy massage, hair cut, whatever to make yourself feel pampered right now.

I went to pedicure a couple of times. I even went to have my last c-section with baby blue toe nails (in honor of my son,) with white daisies and a rhinestone on each big toe ;-)

Caught up in the recent Julia Child frenzy, I purchased a copy of "Mastering the Art of French Cooking". Almost immediately, I realized that I had 2 chances of achievement: slim and none.

So when I read about Stephanie’s book in our local paper’s weekly food column I ran out and bought it. It is fabulous. It is easy. It is fun. It is a book for those of us who can’t pronounce “boeuf bourguignon”, but who know our way around a pound of ground beef. And, really, who wants to clean up all of those dishes anyway?

Thanks so much for all you do for your readers.
There is no crankiness in our house this year! (well, maybe just a little.)

I'm visiting from "A Heart for Home" and would like to try some of your recipes! (Especially the crock pot chocolate peanut clusters!)

Cranky, maybe, but funny oh yes!

Stephanie, I registered to win a computer from your blog and I WON! I cannot believe it. Still pinching myself about it. I won one other thing in my life: a Pink Blackberry Pearl where I had to dance in front of Verizon Wireless in giant pink high heels on Valentine's Day at a promotional thing they were having out there. I held my 2 month old son so I was sure to win :o) Who can resist a baby???
Thank you and BlogHer and HP so much, the Computer is Awesome!
I blogged it:
And I'm cooking a slow cooker recipe of yours today: BBQ Pulled Pork.
Congrats on your new baby :o)
